Casa Margherita
During the early decades of the 1900s, a handful of wealthy Montecito residents adopted a tradition of grand European villas and built outdoor theaters on their lavish estate grounds. One of the few surviving outdoor theaters is located on the grounds of Casa Margherita, a classic old Montecito estate built in 1919. Situated along a coastal ridge just south of Santa Barbara, the property comprises three landscaped acres and an Italianate-style country house where oversized windows and enormous doors open to spacious stone patios, spectacular gardens, flowing fountains, and Japanese koi ponds. With bridal dressing rooms and use of the villa, this property offers real value.
